2010 Season                                Edition No. 27                         August 10, 2010

Greetings my Baseball Brethren! Congratulations to Ted for administering a butt kicking that I haven’t seen since Johnny was in junior high. This pennant race has been over for some time. Ted has a 655 point lead that will probably keep expanding. I liked Ted’s team on draft day but I never saw this complete domination forthcoming.

Between Ted’s dominance and my teenager’s hormones kicking in, this has been a long summer and I am looking forward to the fall and college football. Welcome to the Big 10! This should be a great move for Nebraska, more money and an easier schedule, what’s not to like.

I am looking forward to our Minneapolis trip! It should be a great time, with all 13 baseball brothers attending. I have no doubt that Johnny can drive the Scooter Mobile anywhere we need to go when the bars close…….

Notwithstanding the Wahoos dominance, there are still several exciting races occurring. The Chiefs, Cubs and Highlanders are battling for 2nd, 3rd & 4th. Any guesses on who gets squeezed out of the last money spot? The Vegas odds are with the Chubs. Barring a hot streak or collapse, the Monarchs have a respectable 5th place finish locked up.  The Bitches, Redbirds and Blues are battling for the last 2 upper division spots.

The Bombers, Missiles, Bears and Tribe are fighting for respectability but these teams have also been decimated by injuries to key players. The beloved Senators need to heat up to avoid the cellar.

Below find the Top 25 Hitters, along with owners and draft round selection. Every team has at least one representative, with the not surprising Wahoo leading with 4. The Redbirds and Highlanders are next with 3 each.
